It should just return waiting for next command. I just confirmed this works.. It's a single dash, BTW..
will do this, but then won't it unmount when i boot to recovery; to do a factory reset and flash?

so far, the mount system parition using philz touch has been good, and no restart as of yet.

sorry to be so clueless lol, im still a less than novice user
if possible tell me if this is correct procedure]]
1. on rooted software, run android terminal
2. su (enter) --- mount -0 remount rw /system
3. boot to recovery
4. factory reset
5.flash

Looks like it that makes your system partition read and write. So you can edit any files under /system

Always be sure to put it back to ro if you manually switch it..

Same command, just change the rw to ro

yeah man, it has worked, but specifically if i keep the Stamina Mode off, that seems to be the cause of the problem thanks for your help

I had that problem before, I had to installed inompatible xposed software. My issue was solved by not using StaminaMode apk

I have this Problem, too.
But I have not rooted my Device. It is just Stock Firmware via OTA Update. I did a Systemrepair via PC Companion twice. But the Device is still constantly rebooting since 4.4.2....
