Hi folks,

i dont know what to do next, i am a little bit desparate. My device is a xperia z.
what i have done:
- there was a clean original software from sony on my phone
- I installed Android SDK (Eclipse package with Google USB Driver selected and installed with sdk manager)
- I installed the flashtool driver
- i opened the bootloader like in the thread described "[Tutorial] Xperia Z & ZL Bootloader Unlocking/Relocking"
- That was OK, after that i was able to type my pin and the OS was booting.
- I shut down the phone and set the phone into fastboot mode
- i flashed the meow kernel via "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
- from this point my phone hangs in a bootloop.
- meanwhhile i flashed a few kernels but without success to get the phone running.
- i can access the recovery menu
- In Recovery my PC only shows [exclamation mark] Xperia Z
- If i boot into system (which hangs - bootloop) i have adb connection.

I think my problem is i dont have adb connection in recovery menu,
How can i have access adb connection in recovery menu to use the sideload method?

Is there maybe a rescue kernel?

One more question: Is the device charged while on usb or on powercord and the OS is not running?

Just reflash stock kernel with flashtool. Custom kernels like meow won't work on a stock Rom
Edit: better still, fastboot one of my stock based kernels from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...php?p=46612676 according to your firmware

Puhh, thank you guys, its working...

@shoey63
i tried the kernels but without success, everytime i only got the sony logo and nothing happened, perhaps im too stupid or something else went wrong. i flashed via fastboot and the console always respond with OKAY.

@androidfreak70
your hint helped a lot. i dl this rom and installed it with flashtool. And tadaa, there is an os!

The battery was at 4%. So i guess the phone was not charging while i tried to repair it yesterday (most of the time it was connected to PC). What if i struggled 2 hours longer ?!? Hm, doesnt matter, now i make a break and perhaps i will make a second try today evening.
Again, thanks a lot..

Hi, now i have the dirty unicorns rom running, great rom.
Its so easy. This time i copied the rom and gapps to internal storage before i flashed the kernel.
After a full wipe in recovery i just installed the packages and everything is fine now
