Default [Q] Recover data, broken lcd

I've an xperia z and it has a broken glass, I can't use the touchscreen at all.

I've tried to boot in download mode but the led just blips once red, fastboot (blue led) instead works fine but I'm not able to get any data out of it.

Any idea? I've to send this to warranty so I'm afraid of flashing custom bootloaders or things like that which could break the warranty.
Finally got a Nexus 4!

I don't have a custom recovery and the only thing I can get into is fastboot mode, trying to get in download mode makes the green led blink instead of solid green.

I've tried only those modes by connecting the usb cable while pressing the up/down volume buttons.

Any other ideas?
Finally got a Nexus 4!

Maybe get a USB OTG cable and connect a mouse to your phone. That should allow you to interact with your phone (if you can see anything on the display that is).
