Hi everyone, I just bought a case for my Xperia Z which covers the proximity sensor of my Xperia Z
I discovered that when the proximity sensor is covered, I can't screen on the device by pressing the power button
I have tried to disable the proximity sensor, what results is I can't screen on by power button even when the proximity sensor is not covered
any solutions on this?
I have downloaded an app to screen on the phone by shaking but it is not convenient enough..
any ways to screen on the device by pressing the power button when the proximity sensor is covered?
or any app to screen on the device by pressing volume buttons?
many thanks

Hello,
Why do you need to disable this feature? This handles situations, for example, when the phone is in your pocket and accidentally the power button is pressed.
