Ok,i just got the 10.4.1.B.0.101 update available for download and every time I try to install it,it reboots and gives me an error. Now,I've updated OTA countless times but the only thing that is different is that I have a custom(Dual) recovery installed. Is that causing the issue? Can I revert to the factory recovery?

Ota updates checks system partition delta informations.

Probably because of dual recovery modify runtime scripts, update fails in check procedure.

you might try to uninstall recovery from system partition, or use update cmw packages.

Yeah I did that a while ago on my old phone, but the version missmatch from the app data caused all kinds of problems and force closes. Maybe that wont happen, but I'd like to do anything for OTA to work properly.

And to answer the previous thread question, root is not the problem.
