Just use any FTF for your device, region and branding does not matter

How to get root on Xperia Z1 with KitKat 4.4.2, 4.4.3 & 4.4.4

If you are unsure, then read this.
If you are still unsure, watch this.

Nah, every firmware has a slightly different. Australian firmware is specially designed for Australia. Therefore you should flash aus tft

The differnces are either cosmetic or include/do not include certain apps to apply with local legislation. It also helps deliver updates on a global scale without everyone downloading at the same time. They can stagger the release. It makes sense to do this for many reasons.

All this makes no difference to phone performance. You can flash any regions FTF as long as its for your device (C6903 etc)
