But maybe there are not enough Honami owners around here, especially with Z2/3/4 just next to it..

Though, could you provide a new build based on the latest upstream sources? I'm still facing several issues that I hope got resolved in the latest build(s)..

That means not even upstream builds based on Lollipop?

Non taken bro, maybe I wrote my post in a wrong way, sorry bout that;

well there aren't any changes in KK repos, so a newer build wouldn't make any difference for you
and a Lollipop one!! will think about it, but can't promise you anything

Regards,
Omar.

No hard feelings, everything's fine.

Then the last build introduced some (more) bugs:
- DSP-Manager crashes on each track skipping within a music player (tested with Apollo and Play Music; VLC works, though)
- Bluetooth sometimes "hangs" (doesn't connect to my Parrot Minikit Neo)
- GUI (launcher?) sometimes crashes
- Speaker loudness (not the ear one, I mean the one at the bottom, behind the grid) is way too low; almost just about half the loudness the stock ROM offers

Well, that would be awesome, of course..

There is a major bug in November Omni release: no sip clients work. You can install several apps such as Linphone or Csipsimple, login into your account, but as soon as you dial a number, the app exits and all logcat is saying: this feature is not implemented. Linphone exits and Csipsimple just doesn't do anything. Apparently, some libs or codecs are missing. Pity, as otherwise this is the best custom kitkat for Honami.

Was thinking about starting a 5.0.2 Omni ROM, but I don't really have a much experience with making ROMs, and I guess it might be a good idea to wait until FXP or CM have stable builds. Don't know if you're interested in that. I do have one of your ROMs on my Xperia ION though.

Sorry. No lollipop for me. This version is what its name implies: a shugar candy for spoiled kids, who have no concept of security. I don't blame the kids, after all, you can't demand security from them.

Google has done it again: while providing a few colorful touches for user interface (more bright color candy wraps), it managed to integrate spying malware so deep into kernel and api, that removing this garbage makes the device non functional. No surprise here. Google, which was created by three letter agencies in a Mussolini type merger of state and commercial interests, is doing the job it was designed for pretty good. From the commercial point of view, this is their model:

Producer - Manufacturer and Google
User: - Carrier, Advertisers and Government
Product/Target - You

Android stopped being an operating system at JB 4.1.2. It is a pitty 4.1.2 can't be ported to our device.

So, sorry again, I am not going to participate in this sharade.

I might do it, but can't promise anything

oh yeah, Google integrate spying malware so deep into kernel!!
kernels are device specific, Google doesn't touch them at all (except for nexuses and GPE devices), and we are using the same kernel for kitkat on lollipop so that's just not true.
and lollipop is for kids but jelly been isn't, I don't get it, all android releases were named after a sweet candy, so....

as far as I've seen, there is no benefit from reply to such posts, but I thought I should do it xD
but not doing again.

Regards,
Omar.

There are many great developers working on android, you included. But virtually none has any concept of security. For starters, get a network monitor and see IP addresses your kernel and other system apps connect to. You might be surprised.

Yeah, I am not going to continue this discussion either...

Regards
