I'm guessing Flashtool is pretty self-explanatory (it looks pretty straightforward), but if not, I'll be back .

Thanks again!

Well, I must have done something wrong.

So, I got Flashtool to recognise the device exactly as you said. However, Flashtool didn't have an option for showing/opening ftf files, so I disconnected the device. I then Googled the exact procedure (and felt like an idiot), found it, and wanted to reconnect the device.

No luck. All I get now is a blue light when I press volume-up and connect it via USB. Flashtool recognises nothing. I also turned it back on into the bootloop, pressed the red button, and tried again - no luck. Any ideas?
If the device has a blue light, then that mean it's in fastboot mode. Try reconnecting it by holding the volume down button. This should have a different color and put it into flashmode. In flashtool select the big lightning icon, then select flashmode. Then click the '...' in the top right and point flashtool to wherever the downloaded ftf file is. Then select flash.

I don't really know why, maybe there would less modules and "File's" used on the Castor_windy.

Please try and report.

DONATE TO ME
I pushed the fix to CM. Please wait for a fixed version of windy! Non-windy (LTE) should work fine.

Thank you, thank you! Everything worked out (needed a reboot of my PC - I'm guessing one of the drivers crashed), and I'm back to a fully functioning stock.

Thank you everyone, and here's a cute kitten to express my gratitude!

Someone else answered before I saw this-
you need to hard power down (long press the button until the tablet
vibrates 3 times).

Make sure to have working fastboot drivers on the PC-
either the sony ones or the driver package from flashtool.

Plug in the USB cable and hit volume up at the same time.

You should see the blue led in the upper right.

Sometimes you have to do it a few times to get the sequence right.

Once you get the blue light go back to the PC and do a fastboot devices
to make sure the drivers are working and can see the tablet in fastboot mode.

Once you have fastboot - you can flash back doomlord's kernel or a custom
ROM kernel boot.img once one is working.

As long as you can get fastboot - most things are fixable.
