i took the plunge today and got a z2 d6503 canadian version biuld number 17.1.2.A.0.314 do i need to unlock bootloader and can i root this version.i just came from sg4 and i had it rooted any help would be great

you can root all versions of the Firmware with locked bootloader, you can find rootkits in general, Cross development and original development sections
