Default [Q] Screen on while charging. HELP!

So as the title says my problem is very annoying. Every time my phone is on charge I see this stupid advertisements. I just want to turn off my screen because of
1. I charge it mainly at night so the light from the screen is distracting me and
2. The whole charging proces takes way way longer, because the screen is constantlly on.
If anyone has a usefull advice it will be appriciated

You have to give more details...

My screen stays on while charging using the magnetic connector. However, just pressing the power button will force the screen to turn off. I am assuming you already tried pressing the power button once while charging?
