Question TomTom with maps on external microsd card?

Hi all at XDA, hope you are all having a great day.
Has anyone had any success with getting tomtom gps navigation program to run with the maps stored on the microsd card?,
I have tried to achieve this with a custom rom, tried eXistenZ Ultimate no joy, then I even tried loading stock ROM and just rooting then Xposed framework with HandleExternalStorage module still no joy?
Some stuff with exposed frameworks works, but not tomtom for some reason.
Any help much appreciated guys.

I guess this app create its required directory in internal sd-card so when u move data to ext sd-card app may not be able to find them...
unless mount its directory. i mean mount that specific folder
it s kindda redirection. something like this LINK

JAVA, Symbian, iOS4"5"6"7, WP8

Try folder mount, which should do the job.
I'm a linux user and smug about it, this is your problem not mine.

Hi Geeks Empire and ghostofcain.
Just finished testing folder mount and no luck?, it wouldn't may be that I am rooted with a locked bootloader? its the only thing i can think of.
Tried all the stuff except Edit platform.xml from here no joy http://technofaq.org/posts/2014/04/f...ndroid-kitkat/, couldent edit my platform.xml with file explorer for some reason, maybe that's the cause of all my grief...
