Sorry! It won't work on XC. Since they both use different audio control. Btw, i couldn't figure out what exactly control the audio in XC either.

Im use ViperAndroidFX on mi ZL, will not cause any incompatibility if I use your mod?

I think there won't be any problems. But to make sure, please use backup feature included in the aroma, it only takes a second. Then try the mod. U can always restore that backup through the aroma itself.
