Earphones not working

After flashing your zip the HD notification was successfully removed, but all the songs are being played through speaker.

I have an osprey XT 1550 running on Lineage 14.1

Please do something.
Can't listen anything through headphones. ?

Worked Moto G3 Osprey

Well this worked on AOSP Extended 7.1 Rom. Haven't faced any earphones problem.
Good Work.

I personally love Jio but It's very annoying for the Custom ROM users to see the Ongoing notification "Device is HD capable".

So I decided to remove it.

    Q:-How to remove the notification?
A:- It's easy.. Flash the zip and you are done..

Q:- Will VoLTE work after flashing the zip?
A:- Of course, Yes.. Only notification will be removed, You can still use VoLTE..

I would like to know what changes did you made to get it working.
Like what resources you modified and which one leaved untouched.
This guild will help you to build the patch for other devices..

    1) Find ims.apk file in your phone and extract it to PC
Try looking for it in /system/vendor/app/ims

    2) Use apktool and do these edits in ims.apk

    Decompile ims.apk

    In ims.apk>res>values>bools.xml
Change value of config_update_service_status to True

    In ims.apk>res>values>strings.xml
    Delete value of device_is_hd_capable

In ims.apk>res>values-mcc** (inside dozen or so folders) > bools.xml
Change all values of config_update_service_status to False

Re-compile ims.apk and give necessary signs. And use it any flashable zip

I did exactly the same and got it worked in Osprey..

Can you please make something similar for OnePlus 2...?
I don't have OnePlus 2.. I can't test if I make a patch.. but you can try the zip on OnePlus 2 at your own risk.. better backup first..

There's a simple solution without flashing any files... Install Notification Remover app and add org.codeaurora.ims to its remove list... Then reboot phone https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=apps2sd.notifyremover
