Is there anyway to cast apps that arnt already supported Netflix doesn't have the show I want but showbox does and it's not supported unfortunately

The app developer needs to build in Chromecast support. So it would be up to Showbox to add it.

Check out the app Allcast in the playstore. After you download it you can use it to playback content from Showbox by casting to your Chromecast. In Showbox hit the hamburger icon next to video playback quality and select Other playback...

Here's the link from Showbox that goes into more detail:
