I'm announcing an easy file transfer and manager app. The app communicated directly over you local network so no need to use the usual slow methods. The app automatically communicates with your connected wear device to get the information it needs to transfer files. It also now supports Bluetooth

Here is a video demonstrating the app:

Download the app here:

And sign up for betas here:

There are still a lot of features I would like to add but you should still be able to transfer files fine.

This has been a weird bug I've seen for lots of users. I have never experienced it running stock android. I've got a stack overflow thread if you have any ideas. I'm really stumped on this one. Sorry for the inconvenience. I will fix it as soon as possible.

I believe I have found a solution. Could you try to update and let me know if it continues to crash?

Updated to 0.1.8 and runs ok. I'll do some operations and tell you how it goes. Thanks! Good job!

The app connects with the watch, Huawei watch 2, I can see the folders. But when I try to copy/paste some file from the smartphone, it does nothing, and failed to connect. Great idea, until now I used to do with ftp server and file explorer app, good to have in one app! 👍

Hey Nibblex,

Were you ever able to transfer files with the app? When it looses connection, could you verify that wifi is still connected directly to the watch and the bluetooth is not causing it to disconnect?

Thanks!
