Great App, really useful!
I encountered a bug, which you probably can't notice:
Files containing Umlauts (ä,ö,ü) can't be used. Character encoding issue probably?

Is anyone using the OEM i9100 (sgs2) OTG cable, can anyone confirm it will work, I have this OTG cable but I have no way to test it, as my gnex is stock rom 4.0.1 and non rooted.

will the official 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 (non rooted) support USB OTG.

thanks.

I'm using that cable, it is working - I'm rooted though, this app requires it.

Thanks, i just need to know so that I dont need to return it, just hoping the official 4.0.2 or 4.0.3 will support the feature without rooting.

I've tried a number of USB mounters on my newly rooted ICS Xoom, this is the only one that works! Thanks very much I'm using a real Motorola OTG cable.

I just talked to someone about this type of issue at juiced systems. They said they are about to release a 5 in 1 multi tool that allows simultaneous otg hosting and mhl hosting for HDMI cords. I'm looking forward to my gnex becoming a viable desktop replacement for day to day use! ( imagining a keyboard and mouse while displayed on my vizio! Yay! Now if only I could hook up an audio interface to my nexus I might not ever use my laptop again!! Lol

i've tried with a bunch of thumb drives, and only a couple have worked (some light up and still don't work, some don't even light up, and others light up and work).

it would be good if the people that have had success could mention which thumbdrive they used?

Corsair Voyager 32GB thumbdrive lights up briefly but does not work.
Verbatim Store n' Go 8GB thumbdrive does not light up or work.
Sandisk 512MB thumbdrive lights up, works
Jotun 1GB thumbdrive (eBay generic) works.

I'm desperate for 32GB on this thing guys! help me out

What file systems are they formatted as? FAT? NTFS? EXT3/4? Which kernel are you running?
