OnePlus devices have extra blocking mechanisms. See here for more information (and actual screenshots): https://www.3c71.com/android/?q=node/2756
Main app is unlocked by unlock key, like many apps on play store, SuperSU had a SuperSU Pro APK which unlocked the main app. Much easier/faster to maintain, as detailed here: https://3c71.com/key (why section).
Just to update you, and not complaining - I am on Oneplus-7, Android 10 and enabled your modules in EdXposed. They cause a lag which is particularly noticeable in Chrome and few other downloaded apps, so disabled it.
I know that EdXposed has only yesterday officially supported 10 (and I haven't tried that because it requires a custom Magisk), so things are far from stable but just to bear in mind that the Modules may need tweaks. Or it may be device specific IDK
FYI as heads up
Thanks for the heads up, do you have xposed logs when module is active? It may show something useful. I have a Pixel 3 with Android 10, so I may be able to reproduce, if I manage to install xposed on it. But until then, any logs you can provide (logcat+xposed) may help.
