I'd like to introduce an app that can really save you some time if you really want to keep your music library tidy. Of course it's basically another yet id3 tag editor, but it has a difference and it will make you prefer this over the others. Automatic Tag Editor (aka AutomaTag) in fact extract any existing metadata (or file name) from songs in order to find a close tag match over the internet and then you can apply it with just a tap. It queries the request to some famous online music sites and comes up with the correct metadata (title, album, artist, year etc.) ready to be written to your audio files.

From June 2017, AutomaTag also relies on audio fingerprinting recognition, just like Shaz*m, so it can be much more accurate than before.

I'm still improving it but, as I saw from reviewers, it looks like a great app that could save you from writing manually information to your songs.

Well, it's August and I've been on holiday for a full month. I'll be back soon with updates.

A long time ago I used it. It was a the best application for tagging. I had a lot of untagged files so I needed to use your app again. But now after the first automatic tag it stops working. Every time I open the app it just crashes.

- The ID3 mode to use is decided depending on the specific file if not set differently in the settings
- Updated many translations
- Improved stability

Beta program: the current beta version should make the app compatible to a wider range of audio files and should perform very much better. Moreover a lot of little bugs were fixed. You might want to try it out.
