It doesn't seem possible to exit the app while it backs up without killing the backup process
One really nice feature will be to display all backed up apps as a list, not like backup date folders. I can't remember when I backed up some app and will have to search through all of the backup folders to find it ...
Oh, and a scheduled backup will be nice. I will be following this app with great interest. Thanks.
Press the home button to minimize the app, although it is not recommended, as the Android system can kill the app if it is minimized and the system is low on RAM.
You should have a notification with progress bar, like downloaders, music players, etc.
That way you can make sure it does not die until it is done.
Looking forward to developments
Does this support backup of SMS app data? So all your SMSs fast? TB is only app that takes less then 5 min to backup my SMS, all other backup apps take hours.
Please check that you have busybox installed. It will fail if you don't have it. Also make sure you have made a backup of both app and data, and not just data.Nice looking app, went ahead and bought it, but its not working properly for me. It backs up apps fine but does not restore them. It runs through the apps real fast when restoring and says done but doesn't actually restore anything. Ideas anyone? I'm on a moto g running liquidsmooth, if that helps anything.
Just for the sake of clarity regarding the pro version, this app will have multiple in-app purchases for each premium feature, and not just a single pro key. This will allow you to buy just the features you need and avoid paying for the features you don't want. The total worth of all the in-app purchases will still be less than/equal to the pro keys of other backup solutions.
The sorting in Restore tab needs to be set each time one opens app. The last chosen sort is not saved, so if I choose sort date asc/dsc I have to select it again next time I use the app.
It would be great to have it persist, each time view is changed that setting(chosen value) should be stored and restored next time app launches, (as done in various file explorers).
Great to see development
Curious to know if you have any other plans for the app(new features | or other projects)
