Wtf. I already purchased another call recorder through Google Play in their absence and have since resorted to using it as my daily driver instead. Had they gave a heads up to their customers, I probably would've never jumped ship nor spent more money on a new call recorder. Fvcking inconsiderate imbeciles, smfh.
I can understand the need to have a working program so you can do what you need to be doing, but this isn't a company. It's a developers side project. I'm thankful it's still working, and I'd tried many other prior to settling on boldbeast, so exercising a little patience to see how things play out before jumping ship is prudent, sensible, and reasonable. Blaming the developer with expletives isn't conducive to improving the situation in any way.
If anything, Boldbeast has been a reliable program will little to no problems. I can't say the same for other call recording programs. Their non-root workarounds usually break or have other issues, and root-using programs often have poorer call quality other some other limitation.
Boldbeast Call Recorder has historically been rock solid and had nearly 100% uptime until the recent issue with the website. And, based upon current information, we don't know if the developer is at fault. Could be some stranger or friend paid the website bill and it automatically went back up afterwards. Could be the developer died or has otherwise been incapacitated and you're here cursing him out while he's in a hospital in a coma.
Maybe try to learn from this experience in a way that'll be beneficial to yourself and others. Until you know what's going on, you have insufficient data to make an informed decision, and so it's prudent, sensible, logical, to exercise some patience to gather data prior to deciding what to do.
