"Network may be monitored": Tired of this warning after installing a certificate?

With this app, you can disable it in one click.

Additionally, you can use any screen lock method like slide to unlock.

The app is open source and available on Github:
https://github.com/Nutomic/movecerts

Additionally, a paid version is available on Google Play:

Thanks to forceu for describing the method used in this app.

Of course anyone is allowed to, that's what open source is all about :D

I do not agree in general.
The source code is open but what about the app name, icons etc?
You could violate the authors copyright, even though the app name is no registered name.

See e.g. Redhat Linux which is Open Source. You are not allowed to build Redhat Linux yourself and you are also not allowed to use the icons etc.
(Here, Redhat has the name registered)

But as you are the author and agree, then of course, everything is fine ;)

FCs and does not work

@Nutomic

I created an issue in your Git, because I purchased the app and it does not work, it FCs all the time. Lollipop.

Thanks for the report!

However, I'll be travelling for the next two weeks, so I might not get to fix this soon (but maybe I find some time).

slide to unlock still greyed out!

Hi!
On my OPO (CyanogenMod 11.0) after using 'Move Certs!'
the lockscreen slide method
as well as 'move finger's and 'face unlock' are still greyed out!
I installed the *.cer certificate of my Fritzbox 7490 and moved
it to system with 'Move Certs!'.
Since the lockscreen methods were still grey (rebooted of course!)
I deleted the certificate. No change!
The triangle warning went away though :)
Please help me to get back the former lockscreen options!

Can you check what's in `/data/misc/keychain/cacerts-added`? It should be empty after moving the certificates, so that could be the problem.

Thanks for Your reply! :)
It's empty!
I was lucky to find a solution soon after it happened:
Deleted the Zertificates once more "Anmeldedaten löschen - Alle Zertifikate entfernen".

Unfortunately the app is not working for me. It crashed directly after start.

Is it possible to move the zertificates by hand? with root browser?

I guess it isn't any news but it seemed to work on Oreo 8.1 because it recognized the cert I had installed and asked to move to system so I did and it showed it had worked but when checking the cert system store it didn't show up in the list, rebooted and still not, the message about networking possibly being monitored did disappear though, but the installed certificate was nowhere to be found.

For those who are wondering how to move certificates on Android 7 with Magisk instead of SuperSU.
On this configuration, the original application fails to start. But Magisk already has an installable module Move Certificates that does exactly that.
