Sure it does whatever touch.facebook.com can pull off but it's nowhere near on par with the actual app in functionality or smoothness.. But I can understand why some people wouldnt want that massive junk on their phone these days, especially if its a bit of an old phone.

I suppose you are on Jelly Bean? If yes, install the 1.3 version.
I mentioned the FC few posts before, read before posting.

If I had like Nexus 5 or Galaxy S5, I wouldnt mind about ram that Fb app uses, but I have this Huawei with 512mb ram, so every mb is meaning alot to me xD

I use it for a long time bro, but Huawei did something bad with kernel so there are only 393mb of ram for apps, because leftover goes to gpu. This phone is pretty fcked up, but for me its nice.

I don't know the complexity to retrieve notification on this app, but if this feature will be implemented, from my point of view, this app could completely replace the official facebook app.

I mean, I don't need a precise notification like "XX comment your post" or "EE likes your photo", but a simple "FB has a notification for you" will be enough..

About the notifications, as dev stated before, he wants to make this app as more lightweight as possible, so for notifications, the app would need to run constantly in the background, and that would make the app less light then it should be. Its just my opinion, who knows what will be added in future
