I don't have root access, stock ROM,
I don't think I have pixel launcher because it's for pixel devices only, m using with Android one device

Pixel launcher is not just for pixel devices and I'm almost certain android one comes with pixel launcher pre installed.
Go into your list of apps in settings and scroll to see if you can find the launcher.
It will have to be removed using adb

Not there in apps (system),
If pre installed,
When I try to install it will ask for update of app,
But for me it's not asking for update (screen shot attached)

May be ROM problem,
Because it was working like charm when I was in oreo,
Problem started when I updated to pie

His device is Mi A1, so I doubt pie beta ships with Pixel variant of launcher.. even for One device
