@arnaud42

Been using this browser for a few months and still enjoying it, I have a feature request.

At some point in the future could you look into adding a setting to make this a floating browser?

It's already possible to make it resizable using another app (see screenshot attached), but would be great if it was a built in feature.

Hi. Kiwi doesn't support notifications on sites like mydealz.de and twitter.com. How can I make it work? I reinstalled the app and it still wont work is it my fault?

Hi everyone,

A new release of Kiwi is available:

Version Lambda (February 27, 2019)
Introducing Reachability: (only if the bottom toolbar is enabled).

When you press the Hand icon, it brings the top of the page into reach (the top of the page slides down).
You can enable or disable the option in Settings, Accessibility.

The function is similar to the iOS "Reachability" function.

+ TLS 1.3 final support
+ Faster homepage loading
+ Faster tab closing
+ Better battery usage
+ Improved ad blocker, popup blocker.
+ Added StartPage in search engines (new installs only)

As always: https://labs.xda-developers.com/stor...rowser.browser

Enjoy your day!

Noted, I have an idea on how to fix that At the moment Kiwi is disconnected from Google servers for notifications, so I need to find a way to reconnect that and then to add the relevant UI piece (because notifications are rejected by default, and you can't whitelist in Chrome a website where you have rejected notifications yet)

Great!

Just noticed a bug with reachability, this is after pressing the hand icon. Happens on all pages for me.

I have now just clarified the description a bit better that the Hand feature slides the page down, does it make sense also in your use case ? It's usually for one-handed usage (or maybe I misunderstood what you mean by bug in this case ?)

Ah.. I misunderstood. Thought it was a fast way to get to the top. Sorry about that. Awesome work on the browser. Love it!

Thanks a lot, and no worries, you are not the only one. Every single person I have showed the feature to, had the same reaction it's tricky to explain but after getting used to it it's pretty brilliant

Hi, is there any possibility to use personalized news in homepage? I login into news.google.com but still news are not related to my interests i think. Chrome handles this perfectly. ıt utilizes my searchs etc.

Yes, just wait one hour for the news to refresh or change the region to another country (on the homepage) and then put back your country.

Let me know if that works for you,
Arnaud.
