For these kind of crashes a logcat needs to be captured from your PC.

If you have 'debug' enabled, then disabled it, because there is currently too much logging done, causing hangs.

Hi,
my post was more or less for the same problem that @licacon_Kter wrote- NO blocked traffic is shown when IP filtering is enabled. Debug option is turned off. If you want I can try to record a screenvideo to show what's meant

Nevertheless I will try to capture the logs for the crashes as well (from PC) but this will take a bit.

Solved.
I was checking what the app requested and my VPN service was deactivated.

Now is working properly.

Thanks

It is one of the main goals, so yes, it should.

There is a new build available with lots of bug fixes and improvements:

https://github.com/M66B/NetGuard/releases/tag/0.77-7

The IP filtering core is (hopefully) nearing completion, most to do's are done now.

Please report any problem you find, so I can fix it.

Often I need a logcat and a PCAP file to look into an issue and often a logcat from within the app is not enough.
See this guide for installing adb on your PC: http://lifehacker.com/the-easiest-wa...-to-1586992378

The command line command to capture a logcat is:

Code:
adb logcat >logcat.txt

I will test more to try narrowing it down. For now I've disabled filtering to see if it still occurs.

Blocked traffic should be shown in the traffic log, please check if this is the case.

MMS, afaik, needs a mobile data connection, although you have Wi-Fi. On Xperia there is a R2RClient (or something) that tries to connect.
You could test by forcing a APN (mobile data connection settings/server) change/refresh and see what gets blocked and I guess that after you enable those the MMSes would flow.

Ok. Short check is showing the logs now as expected. Will report if seeing other issues. Thanks again!
