Hi All,
Awesome app that does exactly as intended.

Is it possible to get the firewall to enable before wifi / mobile data are enabled upon boot?

Cheers

I did before posting. A search for 'root' finds nothing.

There is info about using NetGuard with AFwall+ (root firewall) in the FAQ. Anyway, NetGuard works not differently on rooted devices.

It appears to me that some internet traffic is leaking through when the phone is locked, even for apps that are marked to always be blocked. Can anyone else reproduce?

I've tested with two apps:

1. In Chrome type any word (not a URL) in the search bar. Lock the phone. Unlock after a couple seconds. A notification will appear that the search results have returned (but the Google page will only be partially loaded).

2. In Termux, type "ping google.com". Lock the phone. Unlock the phone after a couple seconds. There will be 2-3 successful pings (with the remaining ping attempts failing).

I'm running the latest NetGuard and my stock Huawei Mate 20 X with Android 9.

Opps.. thanks missed that.

Hopefully there's a way to unlock and root Huawei phones again so that a proper firewall can be used. :/
