[Feature Request]
Any plan on converting the drawable resources to Vector Drawables ?
Not that is the current state is causing any issues.
Have noticed that almost all of the icons(drawables) are available within the Android Studio's Asset studio, which should make the task a bit easy.

Also I'm not sure of any performance improvements from refactoring code, it may help in reading the code better and maybe contributing to the project.

Yesterday evening the app 'Austria News' informed me about a new article in 'kleinezeitung.at' around 20:35. At 20:35 o'clock there was indeed an access to 'media.kleinezeitung.at' according to the app log in Netguard (see screenshot). BUT after the log this access should have been completely blocked.
So how can the app get information about a new article in 'kleinezeitung.at' if access to it is blocked?

Do you have google play services installed? If yes notification mostlikely received via FCM...

I have installed Google Play Service, but the notification appeared under the label of 'Austria News'. And shouldn't then Google Play Service have logged an access to 'kleinezeitung.at' around 20:35? But there was nothing corresponding there.

It wouldn't improve much, so in my opinion it is not worth the effort.

The access to the article was blocked. Telling that there is an article might have come from elsewhere, like for example Play services as already suggested.

How can Google Play Service know that there is a new article at 'kleinezeitung.at', if there is no access to 'kleinezeitung.at' logged on Google Play Service at around 20:35?

Google Play services is used for push messages. The server of the app likely pushed the link to the app (no access) and notifies you of the new link (no access). Since 'media' was accessed, I guess the app try to load an icon for the link (access).
