I'm running the Dirty Unicorns Nougat ROM. I installed this launcher. Looks cool and all, but I noticed, the Google Now page on the left is redesigned. Something like this https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByzuxlRYgbvEYlNvMVh0TW1ZQkU/view?usp=drivesdk
AFAIK, this is only in the launcher, the Google app still shows the old design.
Although I totally dig the new look, I can't swipe to remove a card in this new design. I have to do the 3dots menu -> hide story. Not a deal-breaker, but minor annoyance.

Nice, altough I can't customize the icon shape, it would be nice if we could and it would also be nice if we could put custom icon themes... Btw i'm running fine on my OnePlus 3T on OOS 4.5.1

Pixel launcher 2

I seen on Google Plus pixel launcher 2 on the pixel 2 phones have automatic light and dark theme based it changes by the wallpaper light wallpaper with light theme dark wallpaper with dark theme and it changes the color of the notification panel that would be a feature for a future update but that's if Google decides add that to the pixel 2 launcher for other Android phones just a thought

I have a Nexus 6P and the launcher works perfect for me. My wife have a honor 8 and on her phone there is no option in settings for icon shape. Developer is enabled. Anyone have an idea?

Is there a rootless way? The thread has rootless in the title. I see earlier that the dev modded it so it was considered a different app, though it was basically the same. Couldn't he do that by default and escape a lot of hastle? Just my 2 cents
There are 2 cases when this port needs root.
1. You're on a Pixel. But if you're on a Pixel you don't need this anyway as you can just install the official version.
2. You're on some custom ROMs that include Pixel Launcher for some reason. If this is the case then I don't see why rooting is a problem for you since you already unlocked your bootloader.
Otherwise, I don't know any phone that includes Pixel Launcher as a system app.
Apparently the Pixel 2 launcher has auto dark modes for dark wallpapers, can you port that?

There are some codes related to this but it's not working. I'll wait for a full system dump first.

Hi. I'm sorry if I ask the question: but how do I install it?
I deleted the folder with nexus text but I still have the installation error.

The the launcher works but it lags while swiping Google pan or scrolling it doesn't feel smooth. I am using it on Six Oreo rom on Nexus 6.

You have not enabled the feed, go into google app, go to settings, feed, and then tap turn on the feed, follow the steps and it should have your feed when you left swipe on your home screen

Automatic completion it's named and description show popular news right? If that's it then it was already enabled but nothing

    FAQ
Q: Notification badges is not working
A: Read the instructions here. Only working on 8.0 and above for now.

    Q: It's crashing for me
A: Attach a logcat when reporting issues or it will be ignored.

    Q: Weather/At A Glance not working
A: Make sure your Google app is the latest version and installed as a system app then try this.

Q: My icons are not rounded
A: It's up to your ROM to decide which one is used.

Q: It says "App not installed" when I try to change my wallpaper.
A: Install Google's Wallpapers app from Play Store.

Q: Does this launcher support icon packs?
A: No. Neither this nor the original Pixel Launcher support icon packs. But if you're rooted, you can use Pixel Launcher Mods to change icons or apply an icon pack.

Q: I got an error saying "App not installed" when I try to install this launcher
A: This launcher has the same package name as Pixel Launcher. You need to uninstall other versions of Pixel Launcher first. If it is a system app, use the Magisk module to install this launcher. A variant of this mod with a new package name is now available.

Q: I got an error saying "There was a problem parsing the package" when I try to install
A: Starting from version 5 (based on P Pixel Launcher), this launcher only supports Android 7 and above.

Q: The launcher crashes when launching some apps.
A: This is probably a bug in a WIP feature in the launcher. A workaround is to change icon shape in launcher settings.
