More time for what? Pap has stated he isnt adding icon pack support. Its take way to long and is too hard to do in smali.

Ok let me explain for a minute.

This will not happen the Icon pack support maybe if he decision add or not whatever, if they add this will no longer pure stock launcher. We/all don't like that.

And because he was working on the Lawnchair and this pixel2. He still a student may effect delay of update and bugs.

Oh, you mustn't know. Hi i made the official Telegram group for this launcher, I'm also an admin in the Lawnchair groups and I know Till and Pap and the other devs. Pap has already confirmed he wont be adding icon packs. It will never be a thing. Also towards that statement where you say you all dont want icon packs, tell that to the telegram community...

Icon change

Thanks for the launcher, works great. Only issue is after instalation my icons changed to square icons. I had rouded before. Is there a way how to restore back to my old rounded icons. (i hate the square ones ) I tried factory reset and didnt help. I´m triing find some info here in coments but nothing so far.

In the settings of the launcher, choose round. Under customizations you can force them.

No, its a feature of the launcher that the developer wants to keep 100 per cent stock.

Have a look through previous posts, its only been asked about 200 times, with suggestions to make it less noticeable.......

Tested on several devices - works flawlessly except Xiaomi @ MIUI based on 6.0.1
Even with all given permissions, launcher doesn't show current date on home screen. Just blank space. After updating Google now feed - weather shows up but still no date and day of week.
Any idea why?

If that option was included then this would not be a 100 per stock based launcher, and that's what this launcher is.

Rootless Pixel 2 launcher for Android 5.0 - 8.1
The Pixel 2 Launcher was released not long ago. But some features only work when installed as a system app so I decided to make this.

Features
- Enable google now and weather without installing as a system app
- Enable notification badges for M & N
- Add pull down to open notifications drawer
- Fix blue folders on Xperia devices
- Change accent color to Pixel blue
- Add circle icon shape for Nexus on stock O
- Force circle icons option
- Force colored Google logo option
- Dark theme
- Dark text theme

Install
How to install? Simple. Just download the apk and open it. And don't forget to uninstall you old Pixel Launcher first (if you already have one).
This is only tested on 7.1.1. If this is working on other Android versions please report back.

Q: Notification badges is not working
A: Read the instructions here.

Q: It's crashing for me
A: Attach a logcat when reporting issues or it will be ignored.

Q: Weather/At A Glance not working
A: Make sure your Google app is the latest version and installed as a system app then try this.

Q: My icons are not rounded
A: It's up to your ROM to decide which one is used.

Q: It says "App not installed" when I try to change my wallpaper.
A: Install Google's Wallpapers app from Play Store.
