I was lead to believe that the pixel version doesn't work at all on non pixels
but I'm puzzled as to why anyone would install the pixel version on a non pixel device ?
Well, I installed the pixel version on a xiaomi mi5 a few weeks back. The launcher worked but the weather icon thingy on the home screen didn't work.
Flashed the non pixel version over it and the weather was working fine.
That said, I rummaged through a heap of settings pages and toggle switches trying to her the weather working before flashing the non pixel version
Maybe it was simply magic and the barrage of swearing abuse directed at the screen that did it.
Have you tried shouting at the screen?
It most likely won't work, but its a great stress reliever.

I used to swear at my screen all the time believe me, but that was when I was a "loyal" nova user.
I don't swear since I been using this launcher ?

Edit

Since my Nokia updated to Oreo it has a habit to go completely bonkers for no reason at least once per week.
Even though the new Nokia's are close to pixels in terms of software (pure stock android and monthly security updates) it can behave rather erratic at times.
When it does that my wife says she learns some new swear words......

I never solved it on this version no, it gave me a headache! I've since rooted my V30 and running AOSiP which is nice, however, I think i used v 5.3 with no issues. If that doesnt work theres another version of Pixel Launcher which worked for me but had to sacrifice not having the newest features.

I truly thought you we're being sarcastic at first hehe, the dark theme doesnt affect it, or at least it didnt for me!

OK I just set the launcher into immersive mode (just navbar) using ADB:

adb shell settings put global policy_control immersive.navigation=com.google.android.apps.nexuslauncher

Worked fine, will see if it effects the battery

this mir rning weather has been lost. Worked before i go in the flight modus...

Have a look back over last few pages, as someone else had a similar issue.
Sign out of your Google account and back in then it might work.

Obviously weather won't work while you are in flight mode, then it has to refresh when you turn flight mode back on.
That's down to Google not refreshing info, not the launcher....

The at a glance widget is also included in the latest Google app betas, in Google widgets, just in case you wasn't aware.

Select widget
Make sure updates is turned.on.
Never had any issues with weather not showing.

Do you have issues swiping up to bring up recent apps? I'm also running P on my ph-1 and can't swipe up to see recent apps when on this launcher

Im using native launcher from the ROM (quickstep launcher), if using this launcher the new navigation not work as Android P navigation suppose to. Back Button always appear, can't swipe Up to recent apps. Looklike it does not compatible right now.
Sorry for my English, i hope u understand what i mean.

Here we go. still no widget folder, but it works. reset my feed. and resign in my profil.

What is "widget folder"?
A screenshot might help

If you have weather shows up on your Google feed, then you should have it on your at a glance widget too

If you had read that original comment you would have seen my screenshots with the "widget folder" he was talking about.

There is NOT a widget folder.

There is a setting for the "at a glance" widget in the Google feed under the heading "widget" and I've found 9 out of ten people reporting the weather "not working " don't even have that setting turned on or dont have that option in the Google feed settings....
People are installing the pixel version of this launcher on non pixel devices or vice versa, and the weather not working is sign of running the incorrect version of the launcher for the device you have (found by reading the confirmation posts a couple of pages back in the thread)

To find the "widget " settings, you should goto the
Google feed
Select overflow menu
Select widget
Turn on, and the weather should then work (if you have the non pixel version of the launcher on a non pixel or the pixel version on a pixel of course..)

If you read the FAQs / known issues on the first post it does explain that if some icons are not round ect that is not controlled by this launcher but by your device or ROM.

Also read the faqs and the last few pages of this thread with regard to the weather not working, I've explained how to turn it on several times.
Also make sure you are not using the pixel version of the launcher on a non pixel device, as the weather not working is a known issue of using the incorrect version on the incorrect device

Latest google beta i can download is version 8.6.9.21.arm64 but no widget option. I used to have weather in at a glance without Location turned on but all of a sudden one day it decides to stop showing weather. now it doesn't even work with location on.

    FAQ
Q: Notification badges is not working
A: Read the instructions here. Only working on 8.0 and above for now.

    Q: It's crashing for me
A: Attach a logcat when reporting issues or it will be ignored.

    Q: Weather/At A Glance not working
A: Make sure your Google app is the latest version and installed as a system app then try this.

Q: My icons are not rounded
A: It's up to your ROM to decide which one is used.

Q: It says "App not installed" when I try to change my wallpaper.
A: Install Google's Wallpapers app from Play Store.

Q: Does this launcher support icon packs?
A: No. Neither this nor the original Pixel Launcher support icon packs. But if you're rooted, you can use Pixel Launcher Mods to change icons or apply an icon pack.

Q: I got an error saying "App not installed" when I try to install this launcher
A: This launcher has the same package name as Pixel Launcher. You need to uninstall other versions of Pixel Launcher first. If it is a system app, use the Magisk module to install this launcher. A variant of this mod with a new package name is now available.

Q: I got an error saying "There was a problem parsing the package" when I try to install
A: Starting from version 5 (based on P Pixel Launcher), this launcher only supports Android 7 and above.

Q: The launcher crashes when launching some apps.
A: This is probably a bug in a WIP feature in the launcher. A workaround is to change icon shape in launcher settings.
