I forgot to mention another observation.
I have the dark widget on home screen but in launcher settings, the edit option is greyed out (indicating it's not active).
I think this happened from v7.4.9 onwards.

Edit - I tried this regarding the floating button. Open settings and toggled off the button. Without leaving the page, I selected settings again from the menu sand I can see the button toggling itself. Not sure if you can duplicate this.

It toggles doze display on and off if supported by your system.

Doze display shows notifications in low power state, black background and white content, the notification pulses in and out

Sorry, I did a couple of tests and searched around on xda and google but I can't seem to figure out what it actually does.
Does the notification appear when always-on display is active and the system entered doze mode?
If I leave "doze display" off I get no non-high-priority notification if "dozing"? And if I turn it on it displays them even when "dozing"?
How do I know if my system even supports it?

Also, I may have a couple of issues to report, I just have to better verify if they are actually issues or just misconfigurations on my part.

Hi, will gesture conflicts be fixed for Android 10?
I have the handle on the right side for sidebar, but I end up going "back" each time I try to access it.

Edit: if I swipe up or down directly on the handle, the sidebar slides out. However, swiping left or right does the back gesture function.

It seems your system doesn't support the method, it used to turn burnt display on and off, it also enables/disables always on display on my HTC U12+

I disliked the notification icon taking up room on my phone. So, I've had it disabled for over a day and all works fine.

Is it possible to change the folder the screensaver micro app saves its images in?

Just a question.
My phone is Moto G7 which includes some 'Moto actions'. One particularly useful one is a screenshot editor. Whenever I take a screenshot it immediately brings up the option to crop, mark, or otherwise edit the screenshot (as I did here). It sort of replaces android's own screenshot capability.

With Shortcutter is there a way to use Moto Action's better screenshot instead of the android screenshot? There is no separate screenshot editor to link to. If I link up to Moto app it just opens the Moto settings.

Using a "tap" may be more effective, at least on my phone.

Swiping inwards not that responsive on my phone. It may help if you increase the horizontal pixels of the trigger to make it wider.
I've got used to tapping it.

Tapping works, didn't know that. Also increased width pixels and that made grabbing it much easier.

Just remember not to "hold". If you feel a vibe, it means the trigger is waiting to be repositioned. If you release without moving it, by default it will drop down a bit.

No issue if your trigger can be seen cause you'll notice it. I use a transparent mode to hide it.

Have you tried a custom tile with an activity? It may be available there, there's no other way to invoke such functions unfortunately
