Hello,
openssl is the foundation of secured ip-network communication on android. It is used in webbrowsing via https or vpn-services.

With this small app you can check the openssl version installed on your brandnew device and find out at openssl.org what security vulnerability (heartbleed, poodle, rc4 etc.) may hit you.

Attached are screenshots of lollipop-armv7, android-x86 4.04 and one of my devices (4.03).

have fun,
hunderteins
