Hello, today I bought headphones Airdots Pro 2 and I can't see animation on my Xiaomi Mi 9 V11.0.8.0.QFAEUXM. Thank you for answers.

The global version is on the market.

Where?

---------- Post added at 03:24 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:39 AM ----------

The global version is on the market.

The update Is on the app. There Is new version of app 2.7.43 for update the air 2 firmware in the 2.7.1.0.

I have version 2.6.2 and the application brings me to update to 2.6.9 but I have not updated for fear of damaging the right headphone, as happened to several users. I wait for a stable firmware without problems.

I could not wait, I have installed version 2.7.1.0 and everything works fine, no issues at all.

You have to be patient, nothing else, just follow these steps:

Got a warranty replacement and tried installing the update again (audio quality just sucks too much on the old firmware version). I think I've pinpointed where everything went side-ways, so I will write out a step-by-step instruction on how to update Mi Air 2 without breaking anything (just in case it helps anyone avoid all this mess).

Install the app via QR-code or find APK online.
Put both earphones in the charging box and keep the box open until the last step! It's best if you don't even touch it at all.
When you launch the app, it should be able to find your Mi Air 2 and connect to it automatically (if not, use Google Translate in camera mode to locate the "add device" button and do this step manually).
A pop-up will appear saying you can upgrade to a newer firmware version. Click UPDATE. If the pop-up didn't appear, force stop the app and launch it again — that's what I had to do.
Now do not touch your phone, do not touch the charging box and DO NOT remove earphones from the box.You will see a progress bar. Once it reaches 100% you will see a pop-up.
VERY IMPORTANT: The first pop-up is saying that the update has started and your earphones will reboot. DO NOT TOUCH THE CHARGING BOX. Click "OK" button on the pop-up and wait patiently. This is how I've bricked my old pair of earphones. It's easy to assume that the update is finished after the progress bar had filled up to 100% (when in fact, the actual update has just started).
A second pop-up will appear saying the update has finished installing. Your earphones should appear as connected to the app again (there will be a blue dot instead of a gray one now and it will display battery levels of L, R, Box).
Congratulations, you have updated the firmware and your earphones should work better than they did before.
It's best if you use Google Translate in camera mode throughout the entire process just in case any errors happen or whatnot. Translate e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g before clicking any buttons.

Best of luck!

I do not update the headphones too risky to damage the right. You were lucky not to have damaged them, because it is not a problem of procedure, just read the many cases on the net and you will see that they have had problems equally even respecting the whole procedure. The problem is causal and the reason is not yet known.

Yes, the problem is the procedure, they removed the earphones from the box before the uprade is done, nothing else. Also the person who shared the procedure bricked a pair of earphones because of removing them early.

Follow the shared procedure and you will be able to upgrade without any risk:

1) Install the app via QR-code or find APK online.
2) Put both earphones in the charging box and keep the box open until the last step! It's best if you don't even touch it at all.
3) When you launch the app, it should be able to find your Mi Air 2 and connect to it automatically (if not, use Google Translate in camera mode to locate the "add device" button and do this step manually).
4) A pop-up will appear saying you can upgrade to a newer firmware version. Click UPDATE. If the pop-up didn't appear, force stop the app and launch it again — that's what I had to do.

link for the last version of XiaoAilite apk version 2.8.30

@mcarnevali I am not convinced to update the headphones, every day, on the Mi Italia forum, I read about users who damage them to make the update. I don't need any more paperweights.

I used XiaoAi lite 2.8.30 downloaded from qr code in my user manual.

If you follow the steps I shared you can do it without any risk, the firmware improvements are great

Has there been any firmware update beyond 2.7.1.0? I updated mine months ago, in December everything worked perfectly, in March the left earbud stopped working.

the latest version is 2 7.1 someone wrote that they have updated to version 2.7.2 but in my opinion it is an error. finally the global version of the headphones is not recognized by the application and, consequently, they cannot be updated. In this way, no one can harm them anymore. One more reason not to make updates.

Updated to the last version 2.7.1. The process a little bit confusing. When you clicking update in xiaomi ai app update files start loading to your phone, then messenger appears (on Chinese) that headphones will be reconnected automatically and don't do anything. I was waiting around 5 minutes, no progress bar at all. Just silent waiting. Don't take your headphones out of case while updating!

I've used my second phone with Google translate app and was translating each pop up and string with photo recognition option.

Hi everyone! When i click on the link to download, it shows that no mirrors are available... Does someone have another link maybe? Is the dev already aware? Thanks!

This project was born to translate the Xiaomi app needed to manage wireless headphones. Actually i successfully translated all i can in English, maybe there can be something i missed, in this case report me it with a screen.

Actually I'm testing this on Xiaomi Air 2, maybe will be needed some translations also for the others devices.

i just got a redmi airdots 3 pro .... it works fine with the Chinese app and i got the firmware update for it , but for changing modes and using features it's hard to relay on the Chinese version, is there any other app for at least changing the mods ?
You can try the application I've created recently - Mi Buds M8.

The app supports the following ear buds from Xiaomi:
    - FlipBuds Pro
    - Redmi AirDots 3 Pro
    - Redmi Buds 3 Pro
    - Redmi Buds 3
    - Mi True Wireless Earphones 3 Pro (the newest ones)

    - Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bz.zaa.mibudsm8
    - Official website: https://zaa.bz/mibudsm8.html

Google Play way is preferable - if you install the app from the website, you won't be able to update it from the Google Play.

where did the link to the translation app disappear? has anyone deleted it?
Unfortunately an XDA moderator deleted it as I was supposedly "spammy with my own links".

Well, what I can say is that since the original developer is no longer active in the project, I took the liberty of publicizing my own.

Anyone interested in helping to translate the Xiao Ai Lite app into English or your language, just search for the thread I created on my profile. There will be all the information.

Hello, I have the xiaomi air pro 2s but the application does not detect them. Could you tell me if this 2s model is included. Thanks.
