Just a guess - because it's background play?https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ljSSoVLG0Col05sAnRHg-EdcEkvyZp7b/view?usp=drivesdk
Does someone maybe know why those buttons don't work in this minimized (notifications) mode.
In expanded mode, in YouTube they work.
And the reason why they wouldn't work in background play ?
Because you're playing back a single video (not a playlist)?
Logical.
Here is playing same song in app, there is next button, to play song next in suggestions. So why that next button doest work in background play ??
It could be a YouTube (Google, not Vanced devs) bug. For those bugs all we've to do is wait for a new release...or you can use a previous release to confirm if it is a build specific issue. Here is playing same song in app, there is next button, to play song next in suggestions. I'm using the non root version 13.37.52 and I get the same as what you described. That's why I asked, because I don't know is it Google or Vanced bug.
And it didn't work in previous versions either.
Not suggestions. That is not a playlist. Please open a playlist of videos and then try again. You will see it works. That was intended for PLAYLIST ONLY. Not for "suggestions". That was my question, does it work with song only, not playlist. So it doesn't, OK, thanks. Not suggestions. That is not a playlist. Please open a playlist of videos and then try again. You will see it works. That was intended for PLAYLIST ONLY. Not for "suggestions". Please see attached screenshot.
Try checking if you have latest version of Magisk (v17.1) and Magisk Manager (6.0.0) : One of the reason a module could be hidden in the Downloads section is if the module was updated to a new module template that require Magisk 17+ for example (then it would be hidden for lower versions).Hi. I can't seem to find the Magisk module from the "downloads" option in the left pane. When I search "Vanced", all I get is a module related to some sort of theme. Even scrolling through the entire list, there is no youtube Vanced to be seen. Am I missing something? I know in Xposed, I had to change "stable" modules to "experimental" to see all of them but I see no such option in magisk.
Edit: there are no available magisk downloads in the official website. How can I install this?
yes of course u can always do create a Folder called "Youtube" in /system/app or clean out a already existing one.
then copy downloaded apk into it and rename it to "Youtube.apk". then open apk like a zip file (for example with root explorer) and extract
the "lib" directory into /system/app/Youtube folder. then finally give all directories 755 permission (Youtube and Youtube/lib and sub dirs) and Youtube.apk + lib/arch/*.so
files 644 permission. thats pretty much what the installer does one note: the lib folder might need the libs available in different subfolders. for example
the apk has a "arm64-v8a" dir in lib but system might need "arm64" or with "armeabi-v7a" it might be "arm" or "armeabi" folders.
the installer does symlink one directory to all possible variants but u can also create multiple dirs with the names and copy the *.so files into it.
Easy. Collect songs, create your own playlist from already available music videos and then you can use that buttonThat was my question, does it work with song only, not playlist. So it doesn't, OK, thanks.

Find here instructions to install the Root version manually.
No matter what I do I can't get this to work since upgrading Magisk to 17.1.
Previously I've always used the Magisk module repo to install but currently when I do so it confirms it successfully installed but won't display the YouTube app in my drawer (or list of installed apps).
I've tried installing an older version of the Magisk Vanced module, installed the root version via TWRP, I've tried installed the official YouTube app as a system app prior to installing the Magisk module, none of which worked.
I even tried installing the non-root version, which gave me the app but as I run my phone on MigroG anyway I couldn't install the MicroG apk due to conflicting package names, meaning I can't sign in on the non-root version.
Anyone have any suggestions? I'm running Magisk 17.1 and MigroG 2.4-126.
