Where do you check the memory details. Default android storage details will not give the correct details. Please use Storage Info option in Apps2SD to view actual storage details. Let me know if internal storage is getting decreased there.

Yes, you need to unlink all apps before uninstalling Link2sd. After that you can link all apps back using Apps2SD. Let me know if you need any help.
