I believe it is only to show MinSDK in a screenshot. Though you can also see it in the install pop-out if you install using apk downloaded to /android/com.xda.labs folder

Shyam Bairi has suggested to DOWNLOAD it from apkmirror not only to check minSDK, that's why I ask.

blk_jack,

About the post above I don't understand why I can't set the Xiaomi MI Note 3 manually from the My devices tab / search feature.

I can find the device through search plus FYI (check the 2 last screenshots attached)

I've checked everything, please see my screenshots, they speak for themselves.

A glitch somewhere?

Are you using 1 of your themed, signed apps? If so you may get a parse error if signatures don't match. Would need to uninstall your themed app and install stock xda.

I always download apk files from official sources. So I usually like to follow the 2 step download procedure you stated.
But when I reinstall XDA Labs and there's no backup apk, I check out the OP's Download tab. Unfortunately there never exists the latest test version.
Here, we usually have extreme bandwidth issues. So going through the 2 times download process cost me much time and other issues.

Apkmirror comes at rescue. Afaik, apk files are officially uploaded by you guys. Atleast they are genuine apks.
And Yes, Apkmirror is also very useful in knowing minSDK before download.

I always update XDA Labs via OTA.

Lol. Come on, ya don't think Black Jack sends out apks to apk mirror? You know with all his free time he has in between building labs and forums? And Google will someday release a system wide dark theme for android...

I don't think blk_jack does this of course, that's why I was doubtful. I semi thought maybe someone else at XDA.

Come on, you're damn right saying come on!

Using trello won't be my choice since it requires registration AFAIK.
But I've started working on this: https://github.com/Wood-Man/XDA-Labs...estions/issues

What do you think of the idea of using GitHub and the result?

Note: I kept initial XDA issue number in the issue title for a better follow up.

I will continue to move them into GitHub if you guys think it's a good plan.

I will have to find something on GitHub for suggested features as well.

Testing this: https://github.com/Wood-Man/XDA-Labs...ure+request%22
