Might actually be a ROM issue, as it works for me on three different devices with three different Android versions (Nougat, Oreo, Pie). In the end it is hard to tell without a log file.
It is disabled. That is the point of the mod. If you want that function install stick.
You missed the point there mate, i said i am using the latest version but it's still spamming in logcat trying to connect to cncn servers even though it appears to be failing, i want that crap to be disabled entirely not the opposite lol
Better start learning how to read and understand smali then I guess. The mod only disables connection to server so no data is transferred. Just install pre cheetah QuickPic that has no connections whatsoever. It is still available.
I know what this mod does and that pre cheetah version doesn't work so well with pie as this one, Nevertheless i reported this to the dev so he can fix the logcat spamming and that's the end of it.
