You can always compare the md5 or sha256 flag of the apk and compare to the ones on apkmirror. It's a reliable site AFAIK. Downloaded loads of apk and never had an issue

Hi I'm rooted on a oneplus 7 pro and the I downloaded all three versions of the app and not one can be installed Netflix in the rom that I installed it has Netflix installed I can only disable the pre-installed Netflix app how can I get the app to install any idea

Uninstall the system app (Netflix). Have you tried uninstalling though ES File Explorer. Then try reinstalling the downloaded netflix. I dont have a one plus 7 pro, just a suggestion

Thanks for the advice @gerryl432 tried it es task manager only disabled the pre-installed Netflix app so I couldn't install it fresh.

Using a root explorer go to System / app and search for netflix folders (2 folders cut and paste in another folder , just to backup ) then reboot then install ...

On my OP7pro, it shows the UHD label, but the videos play at 480. And no HDR as this APK is probably too old for it. Would be interested in the mods required for this do that it can be updated to the newest version.

UltraHD tag is just for show, its not really 4K

4k on S10 works with HD account.

Mobile only shows UltraHD tag on videos but when you play it max out to 1080p 5800 bit rate.

I had an LG G4 with an unlocked bootloader and I tested one of the modified apps back then and I was able to get 1080p (I have the middle subscription). I was never able to get any HD resolution on any other device that has Widevine L3 (Huawei Mediapad M3 or a Himediat Q10 Pro TV box) cc @qnufc.

You would use the Netflix Test Pattern videos. They give you stats on the quality etc.

Ok then it is a bonus for me. How about the user interface part ? I want easy navigation. How can I get keyboard navigation ?

I tried most of the versions of com.netflix.mediaclient, they can't be navigated without getting in mouse mode.
