Kingroot isn't that intrusive. I just experimented and installed Kingo and it took over root on my phone and completely wiped King User off.

The only reason I bring this up is that I can't figure out why SuperSU has such a difficult time doing the same on some phones.

imo its not about being intrusive to chainfire, its about giving users the option..

theres probably very few ppl who use Kingo or King root and they want ppl to use their apps/binaries but unfortunately chainfires amazing and ALL root apps work with supersu whereas many dont work with the latter.

i just rooted succesfully samsung galaxy a500f and it didnot trip knox , and my knox status is still 0*0 but i have also installed mcafee antivirus on mobile and it show privacy risk with some serious details the apk can do....

I installed SuperSU-me, from the Play Store. Ran it, granted it root access and activated it. It was supposed to get rid of everything related to Kinguser and replace them with SuperSU, but it apparently missed something, because when SuperSU showed up and asked me to updated its binaries, it failed to do so. Then, I installed the SuperSU beta zip v2.49 in recovery and ran SuperSU. It prompted me to remove the other root method found in my phone. I agreed, installed BusyBox and my other applications which require root, and everything is fine with my rooted ZL running 5.0.2 ever since.

Is your bootloader unlocked? Otherwise you'll loose root upon restart.

Just update: start Kingmaster, find the camwheel ad click on it (settings). Click where you see new on red background and then on the Chinese button on the right. It should update to the latest English version... it will then be called Purify...

Kingroot worked fine on my Wiko Cink Five. It also worked on my Lenovo S6000H, until I shut down and rebooted. It stuck after the Lenovo animation. Luckily a factory reset using standard recovery solved that and Kinguser survived. I think the encryption caused the problem. Ah well, do not really need that. Both my phone and tablet now perform much better than before...

Hi, sorry for that~ could you give me more information about random reboot? You can try to close Purifying mode in PURIFY and check will it reboot again?
If you can not unroot, please try to unroot through remove root permission in Root authorization setting~

but i have a oneplus one and i want to root it to try new roms ...

/so my question is ... if i try kingsroot desktop version will it unlock my bootloader as well ... as i read on the first page it will root my phone as well as install a custom recovery in my device ...


so if i use the desktop version ... can i be able to flash a rom after that from the custon recovery ?

or i will jst get the phone rooted with it and the bootloader will be locked ? and i have to do it bymyself to flash roms ..
