Rooted Verizon Samsung-1545Hi, here is a reply for all SAMSUNG KNOX 0X0 or 0X1 question.
Technically, use KingRoot app to get root will not trip Knox flag to 0x1.
Unfortunately, I can not test for all of you. All devices we hold have flashed rom before.
Attention please, when you use KingUser, it will reminder you to close Knox, I can't make sure what will happen if you close it because of reason above.
So, if somebody rooted by KingRoot and did't flash any third party rom, please post a result of Knox flag here to let others know what happened
Thank you all

There are easy ways to request moderation, this is not one of them.A request to admins....This spyware masquerading as an app has long outlived it's utility and usefulness. The root method does not work past mm6 /nougat7, and the OP doesn't want to close down this thread and (probably) wants the thread open to trap the unwary noob / neophyte into using the app so that his website can harvest his imei and other phone data while he unsuccessfully tries to root his new phone. Please, please take down this thread, close it down and wipe clean all links in op that point to the kingroot app. Thanks.
just to report back..successfully root my toshiba android tv 47l5400vm. thanks OP
I must be dumb..... Could you point me the right way? I definitely would like to see this thread closed as the method is useless on phones with android 7.0 or later. There are easy ways to request moderation, this is not one of them.
- Rooting carries a risk and may void your device's warranty.
- Google Security may block the installation of Kingroot. Either choose to "Install Anyway" or disable your internet connection to continue.
- There is both an Android version and a PC version available. Please be aware that the PC version may flash a third party recovery onto your device.
- In case Purify isn't something you need, it can be easily removed.
- If you uninstall KingRoot, you will lose root access. Reinstalling and re-rooting should be a simple process, however.
- While you certainly can replace KingRoot with SuperSU, we can't guarantee success.
- SU Binary -- This is required to obtain superuser (root) access. It's generally installed to /system/xbin.
- Purify -- You can find more information about this in the downloads section. It will be installed to /data/app/.
