WiFi Password Viewer
• Your passwords WiFi displayed in a beautiful application material design •

WiFi Password Viewer doesn't discover the WiFi passwords!
WiFi Password Viewer shows only the password of WiFi networks to which you have been connected!

Warning: ROOT access is required. Some devices (e.g. Samsung) encrypt WiFi passwords, so that no app can show them clearly. To show them, please, following the instruction in the Welcome AlertDialog in the app or here: http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...wpa-supplicant-conf-on-samsung-galaxy-mobiles. Thanks for collaboration.

Nice app. But it doesn't show all the networks. Only 10, but there are a more networks saved on my phone.

Nice app - there are a few others on Google Play that do this already though - I use Wifi Password by farproc. Variety is good though, plus this app's UI is more attractive than the others I've used
AFAIK all such apps require root access - security measures to avoid people getting access to root are there precisely to prevent access to things like wifi passwords

@casperpas - Please release your app! It looks great! :good:

I was building the exact same app myself. Was going to publish it next week but now I guess it's pointless... :(
@shahrukhamd - Please release your app! Let the users decide which is the best one! :)

all these apps are just browsing the /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf file that contains all your SSID/password.
Nice to know! I will use a text viewer instead an app from now on! :)

@CrotaNexus The app just extracts passwords from wpa_supplicant.conf, which is located in data/misc/wifi. But it's useful for noobs anyway. Good job. :D:good::good:

Doesn't show any passwords on my phone. I guess Samsung's encryption of the wifi password database is too effective.
Please, following this instructions to solve the problem: http://android.stackexchange.com/a/122856 (http://android.stackexchange.com/qu...wpa-supplicant-conf-on-samsung-galaxy-mobiles).

Good job! :fingers-crossed:

Since version 1.2 all networks are displayed. Please, update the application to the latest version.
Bro, please adds option backup & restore wifi password :)
Backup options are already implemented, I'll work on restore feature, which it is a bit more difficult to do.

Develop it and publish it without worry for existing applications. I'm curious to try it!

Thanks to the article on XDA: https://www.xda-developers.com/xda-...-your-rooted-device-with-wifi-password-viewer.

V1.2:
• New beautiful Material Design UI
• All SSIDs are now showed
• Various improvements
• Bug fixing

Thank you for the reply.

On my device, an OnePlus One with LineageOS, it only shows wifi networks till the letter C and after an refresh untill the letter M.

And is it possible to make the picture on top smaller, so more networks can be seen at once. Maybe it is possible to move and schrink the header while scrolling.
