Deleted Google maps on rooted Acer Liquid Z500
Hi,
I am a new member here, sorry If my question is posted in wrong thread. My problem is that while cleaning apps I am not using often I have deleted Google maps - not realising that it is a system app and that its removal could cause troubles. After first restart of the phone, I was greeted with "UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable" message. I keep using it so far without to many limitations however my phone has trouble with navigation apps. It takes long time for GPS to connect with satellites thus making GPS in car unusable. As I have not dropped my phone, I think that the trouble with GPS is not caused by hw failure and might be connected to my deleting the google maps. I tried to install it again from Play Store but installation process stops saying that the app cannot be installed due to Error - 24 - this error is mostly connected, as I found out with uninstalling FB app, that I did as well but I believe that my trouble lies with deleted Google maps.
I have searched the web for the cure but all I can find is a factory reset that in my opinion will not work for me as I believe that I have deleted the installation files for Google maps as well, so I would have to flash the ROM.
My phone is a dual SIM Acer Liquid Z500 and I am running Acer_AV0K0_Z500_1.009.00_EMEA_CUS1 firmware.
If anyone had any suggestions, I would appreciate it very much! Thanks
