Hello
I have Samsung Galaxy Xcover 3 Value Edition SM-G389F
AP: G389FXXS1APL3
CP:G389FXXU1APF2
CSC: G389FOXA1APF2
RF Cal: 20161113
HW Rev: MP 0.100

I have problem with sound quality from this phone. Sounds like it use very low bitrate GSM codec, because sound on other side is muffled and unintelligible.
I have tried to call with the same sim card from other phone - sound is much better.

Please, tell me if someone knows, how to check what codec GSM uses?
And if possible how to change it or disable low bitrate one.

Thank you in advance.

Have you tried ARISE sound mod, and see if it can increase sound and improve sound quality?
I'm not sure about the codecs but I'll look into it.
