TWRP not starting
This might be a stupid question, but then I am stupid: I've followed the instructions to the point where I give command fastboot flash recovery TWRP...img. On a command line it's successful, but after fastboot reboot it still goes to Huawei eRecovery, not TWRP.

Any good pointers on how to proceed?

Like i do, but flash anyway. Are you sure if it not flash? Usbotg is only for external devices like compter or usb-stick.
