YOU'VE BEEN WARNED
We have here My port of PBRP and My port of RedWolf
These have been tested and found working correctly.
For the PBRP there is both a recovery-flashable zip and a recovery image...
If you already have TWRP on the device... Flash the zip.
If not use fastboot to flash the image, then use the recovery to flash the zip...
flashing the zip is optional, BUT recommended to get the full usage from pitchblack.
On the other hand, The RedWolf port, is only an image file,
flash it from fastboot or recovery if you already have twrp etc on the device...
I have taken steps to ensure that both of these will let you flash GSI images to your /system
Also I made it so you can flash /vendor or /lk
along with the norms "recovery, boot, logo" and such.
This is to allow flashing a modded vendor.img or modded lk.img/lk.bin
Note if you're flashing lk.bin you must rename it to lk.img...
Also Note this device has forced-encryption, so after flashing these you'll need to disable it before trying to flash a GSI
to do so, in the folder with the recovery releases on my googledrive there's a file called
fstab.mt6739 If you move it to your sdcard or use your pc to push it to the device it will disable forced encryption...
It needs to go to /vendor/etc/fstab.mt6739
permissions need be rw.r.r or chmod 0644
and ownership should be chown root:root
I may make a quick flashable zip to handle this for you but for now I'm quite busy and you can handle it im sure...
I have spent a great deal of time building, rebuilding, writing code, and breaking my personal dailydriver phone to bring this to you!!!
So If you enjoy it as much as I do plz hit the thanks button
also unlike many other dev's here...
I'm a poverty stricken family man living in the ghetto,
I haven't been able to work much since I broke the L2 disk in my back and stinking disability benefits barely pay my bills.... SO unlike most other Dev's here... I will be developing Everything I can for all the lower end devices that I might be able to afford on my limited budget....
So don't worry There will surely be more to come for this device....
I am trying to save enough money to buy a new P.C with 16GB ram and an i7 or better processor for
building complete ROMs...
I have raised a total of $250 but the one I need will cost nearly $1500
that being said if you benefit from my work , please consider a small donation.
The button's under my name.
