The fact that TWRP does not have the screen glitching issue implies that the kernel embedded in the TWRP image you flashed IS compatible, but perhaps the kernel within your boot image is NOT.
My first question would be:
You mention that you rooted your phone from fastboot.
Did you:
1. patch the stock boot image on your phone or
2. flash a pre-rooted boot image to your boot partition or
3. Flash a pre rooted ROM to your phone
If you answered #2 or #3, then my secondary question would be:
Specifically which boot image or ROM did you flash to your phone ?

I did not get the edl package, but I really want it and of course his account is suspended.
Anybody have it ?
Also this method should be capable of working on your phone, as it is a cv1 device.
You may have to downgrade the firmware to Nougat before proceeding if the device is currently running Oreo.

If the device is currently running Oreo or later, you can downgrade the phone to Nougat using the LGUP utility

anybody had any success with downgrade on the phoenix 4?
I have one and it wont reboot to fastboot,
and so I think I need the Lk image from the nougat version,
mines on oreo.
any help for this?

I know how to downgrade the lk but id need a copy from a different device...

Sure, I am downloading the kdz now:
X210CM10e_00_0508.kdz
I will pull the boot image. You still have TWRP functionality, correct ?

boot image flashers for X210CM
OK, I have created 2 flashable installers for the X210CM.
#1 flashes the stock boot image.
#2 flashes a patched (for root using magisk) boot image.
Both are based on the nougat 10e firmware for the X210CM.
Both installers are run by booting into TWRP, then selecting INSTALL, then browsing to and selecting the .zip installer file.

X210CM flash stock boot

X210CM flash patched boot
Hpe this gets your phone back up and running.
Let me know what happens.

FYI, since I have practically done it already, I am creating a rooted ROM for the X210CM. I only need to patch the system image and package all the image files into an installer and it will be done.
By the way, who is the carrier on the X210CM ?
I only see:
AIO North America US/United States AIO

The problem with the Phoenix 4 is it's an AT&T phone and AT&T doesn't use .kdz files.
Your best bet is to find someone with a working Phoenix 4 and have them use LGUP dual mode to do a partition dump of all the partitions on the phone. If someone could do this and upload the partition images, I will make a TWRP flasher that will restore a Phoenix 4 to stock or even make a rooted ROM based on LGs/AT&T's firmware.

Yeah thats a drag. If i have the time, (i really hate saying that but i guess I try to be superman doing everything across the board and just don't have the time these days due to work and life). i know of where 2 bricked devices are and with the correct programmer i might be able to pull the files and do a EDL package or post them here for someone else to complete the job with XML's built etc.

As for my device its another of countless projects personal and school related so if i get to it ill give it a try. Thanks for the heads up.

Have not found a lot of info on this device just yet so debating whether or not to keep / fix or get rid of it.

Did anyone get this guys debrick package? And does it have the xml's already created? Either way I would like a copy. If someone can pm me a link to a download or email me it that would be awesome.

The Verizon version of the Aristo 2 Verizon and the LG Phoenix 4 Verizon (the one Austin Garrack has) are the exact same firmware. So yes it can be rooted/modded and updated to oreo.

I've got the AT&T Phoenix 4 phone and it's currently on 7.1.2 and won't accept regular updates as I'm no longer in AT&T range. I'd be happy to dump all partitions and I'll try later tonight. Kinda a newb so if someone has step by step instructions, that'd be appreciated.
