no Mac version available, yet the title of this post, the article itself, and the site say it has it. Lame. As far as I'm concerned, their Mac (and Linux) support is vaporware and I'd rather they stop teasing, so that posts like this won't get my hopes up for a new option on OS X.

Their comparison chart is inaccurate; Andy OS doesn't publicly support Mac OS X, and BlueStacks stopped caring about Mac a while ago.

Oh, and as a previous reply on this mentioned, as well as this site, it's just using VirtualBox and that image might even work on Mac VirtualBox.

I'd really like to see an image that works well on VMware, which I prefer greatly to VirtualBox. Or even better: a native option not using VirtualBox or QEMU or VMware, like that used by Chrome's currently very limited Android app support.

anybody have an idea?

I totally agree...
Andy emulator, unlike DuOS, is very lagging on my notebook... (Lenovo G580 Intel Core i3 2348M 2,30GHz, 4GB RAM, GeForce 710M 1GB).

Caveat emptor peeps:

I downloaded Andy based on a recent article that called it better than BlueStacks. Upon launching the installer, I noticed in the UAC popup that the executable is signed by Search Safer Inc. A quick Google search reveals Search Safer is a well known malware company. Here’s a screenshot for proof:

Yep, that’s bad.
So yeah, you might wanna NOT install that.

If it sounds too good to be true..
