I'll begin with deleting its data. Can't disable it because I actually use it. Let's see if cleaning data will have some effect. Thanks so far. :good:
That was the first thing I did, but to no avail.
I'm finding WiFi terrible at the moment too as well. (NB. F1 not play)Alrightyo, I don't know what it was, if it was clearing the cache partition or just the battery monitor needing some time to learn, but the drain seems to have gone down. Especially the Google app is now back down to 1% with 5 minutes of usage.
Only downside now is the bad WiFi connection with weak signal. Used to be more stable in previous builds.
Ah, yeah, and the camera of course, which got worse with every update.

For these of you experiencing image quality issues with the camera after the update. Exactly how did you determine that the image quality got worse?
I just need to look at the photos stored in my gallery. The ones I shot before the July update are sharp and crisp and full of details, even the ones in 12MP mode.
Since two updates ago colours are washed out, and there is a significant loss of details in the pictures.

I've been trying the S9 CAMERA PRO app that is a derivative from the stock Samsung camera and it's seems like a step up with clarity. I'll see the side by side comparison once I download the new photos to the computer.Alrightyo, I don't know what it was, if it was clearing the cache partition or just the battery monitor needing some time to learn, but the drain seems to have gone down. You needn't compare THIS photo to anything else to see that the image quality is NOT WORTHY of a 48MP sensor.
I am aware that this is a scaled down version, but the original doesn't look any better.

Have you taken any nighttime photos? I've tried with Open Camera and it was on the opposite side of the spectrum than daytime photos, they looked like crap. I didn't adjust any ISO settings and was relying on the automatic functions. You are totally right. I did a quick test just now. Below are 100% crop of the same shot taken with Open Camera (left) vs the stock Camera app. The results are dramatically different.
For reference, I am currently running the latest September update. These were shot using the 12MP (4:3) 3968x2976 setting. The extra details from Open Camera is staggering. Multiple shots were taken with both camera apps, so the differences are not due to hand shake or poor focus.
Special Thanks to CMonster for bring Open Camera to my attention.
