Update 2: For anyone having problems with Qsaharaserver fail. Install QPTS and run Qfil from start menu. (Link and tutorial updated.)

Important Update: PLEASE Use my TWRP port instead! DONT flash patched boot. Flash twrp and install magisk through it instead.
Some people have mentioned that they had a bootloop. i have the stock firmware linked above.
Instructions:
-Install QPST : https://mega.nz/#!YxBkhAII!DyUSzNuvJ...BE8LdrwFiiLC7A
-Install Qloader Drivers (may need to disable signature verification on windows 10):
*32bit: https://www.mediafire.com/file/q1uyn...Setup.exe/file
*64bit: https://www.mediafire.com/file/5wc5n...Setup.exe/file
-Install minimal ADB : https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=746010030569952951
-Install Magisk Manager APK : https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/...ger-v7.4.0.apk
-Transfer Magisk.zip to phone https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/...gisk-v20.1.zip
-Enable USB debugging
-Open adb and run "adb reboot edl"
- Start Menu, QPST then Open Qfil and select "Flat Build"
-Click Browse on Flash Programmer and select 8909mbn attached bellow
-Load XML, select rawporgram.xml then patch0.xml attached bellow
-Select Tools > Partition Manager
-Right click on recovery, Manage Partition Data
-Select U683CL-twrp.img and click on write (attached below)
-Close the new windows, will be prompted that EDL will be reset. Hold Volume UP
-Phone reboots in twrp, flash Magisk.zip
-Reboot to System.
-Enjoy!

yeah absolutely, i mean i have a full dump of the phone including all partitions. so yeah a port is more than doable given the info we can get from these images.

original boot image
Any chance you'd upload a copy of the original boot image? My device fails to boot after writing the patched image. I SHOULD have made a backup beforehand.

i attached it bellow. this is the 8.1.0 boot image btw. if u have updated your device. lmk i'll update mine and make an updated patched boot

You're very welcome. Please let me know your android version if you have higher than 8.1.0 or did the recent OTA update so i can update my patched boot image.

if you are still having issues, you can install my TWRP as recovery using QFIL and then flash magisk.zip
