So lets get started already. First of all I'm not the one who discovered this method. credits to this person Angelito Cristobal.

Things needed.
MICRO SD at least 2gb
Of course Asus Zenfone Go 5.5 ZB551KL
Old Firmware of Asus
Latest Version of KingRoot

BEFORE YOU GO FURTHER. MAKE SURE YOU ALREADY BACK UP YOUR FILES.

This method is just, going back to the old firmware that has rooting vulnerability.

1) Download the old firmware to this link http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/Zen....8.13-user.zip

If the link doesnt work try looking here https://www.asus.com/support/Downloa...yUA5DhW70G/32/ The name of the firmware is something like this UL-ASUS_ZB551KL-WW-13.2.8.13-user.zip
2)Put the old firmware or UL-ASUS_ZB551KL-WW-13.2.8.13-user.zip to the microsd
*after that. Go to Recovery Mode. Press together Power Button + Down Volume . Hold it until the Asus Logo Shows up. (My own method, that works for me is after the Logo shows up, i spam press, not holdPower Button + Down Volume)
3)Wipe Data Reset and Cache (Just make sure you wipe the internal storage not the microsd)
*to select the update. Use Volume up or volume down to go to your file target. Then hit power button to choose your file.
4) After Wiping,Apply Update From SD Card just wait... after it finished just reboot. Then you downgraded the firmware! Go set it up
5) We'll be using kingroot. Because this is the one that works. Here is the latest link https://forum.xda-developers.com/dev...t/dl/?id=23923
6) Then your good to go! Credits again to Angelito Cristobal.

This twrp work with zb500kl. And I wonder if it work with zb551kl (Im not using zb551kl now). Just give it a try and tell me. Do this
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
It will temporary run on your phone so you dont get softbrick if it fail.

Some of the developers in other groups are still running some test. I'll get back to you when they release the official twrp recovery
